Therefore, if an item is described as containing or made of sterling silver and weighs over 7.78g, it is legally required to be hallmarked by an Assay Office. As a seller, I am registered with the London Assay Office. Therefore, I will send all my work weighing 7.78g or more for hallmarking as per UK regulations. This is allowed for in my processing and despatch times.
Any piece under 7.78g is still sterling silver, but it is not legally required to be hallmarked.

Care Instructions:
Store your Lyn Haslegrave jewellery in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and humidity. Over time, the silver will naturally tarnish, but excess tarnish is easy to remove using the enclosed polishing cloth. Avoid exposing your jewellery to harsh chemicals, and clean it regularly with a soft cloth or jewellery-specific cleaning solution. Please remove your jewellery before participating in sports, showering/bathing, or sleeping.
Packaging:
My jewellery comes in a kraft gift box, perfect for storing and keeping your jewellery safe. We include a complimentary polishing cloth and a jewellery care card. Our packaging materials are primarily recyclable, compostable, and biodegradable, keeping our commitment to being realistically eco-friendly.
Processing Time: Please allow 5-7 days for your item to receive its final polish and be packaged up, ready for its epic journey from our hands to yours.
