Here are the details of this lepidolite pendant.

This beautiful lepidolite features stunning tones of mauve and lilac. I have created a bezel from fine silver, and the back plate is sterling silver. This type of setting allows the stone to take centre stage. A sturdy jump ring has been securely soldered to the back, and then three silver jump rings have been soldered together to create the bale.

I have given the back a satin finish, while the rest has a high shine. The back also features an attractive teardrop cutout.

Lepidolite is sometimes called the Peace Stone or Grandmother Stone due to its nurturing and calming properties.

It is suspended from an 18-inch sterling silver 2.5mm belcher chain finished with a sturdy trigger clasp and jump ring. 

HALLMARKING:

It is not feasible to determine the precious metal content of a piece of jewellery through visual inspection. Therefore, if an item is described as containing or made of sterling silver and weighs over 7.78g, it is legally required to be hallmarked by an Assay Office. As a seller, I am registered with the London Assay Office. Therefore, I will send all my work weighing 7.78g or more for hallmarking as per UK regulations. This is allowed for in my processing and despatch times.

Any piece under 7.78g is still sterling silver, but it is not legally required to be hallmarked.

Care Instructions: 

Store your jewellery in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and humidity. Over time, copper and silver will naturally tarnish, but excess tarnish is easy to remove using the enclosed polishing cloth. Avoid exposing your jewellery to harsh chemicals, and clean them regularly with a soft cloth or jewellery-specific cleaning solution. Please remove your jewellery before participating in sports, showering/bathing, or sleeping.

Packaging: 

My jewellery comes in a kraft gift box, perfect for storing and keeping your jewellery safe. I include a complimentary polishing cloth and a jewellery care card when appropriate. My packaging materials are primarily recyclable, compostable, and biodegradable, keeping my commitment to being realistically eco-friendly.

Processing Time:

Please allow 5-7 days from the time you place an order for your handmade item to be checked and receive its final polish before being packaged and ready for its epic journey from our hands to yours.
