Therefore, if an item is described as containing or made of sterling silver and weighs over 7.78g, it is legally required to be hallmarked by an Assay Office. As a seller, I am registered with the London Assay Office. Therefore, I will send all my work weighing 7.78g or more for hallmarking as per UK regulations. This is allowed for in my processing and despatch times.

Any piece under 7.78g is still sterling silver, but it is not legally required to be hallmarked.

Care Instructions: 

Store your jewellery in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and humidity. Over time, copper and silver will naturally tarnish, but excess tarnish is easy to remove using the enclosed polishing cloth. Avoid exposing your earrings to harsh chemicals, and clean them regularly with a soft cloth or jewellery-specific cleaning solution. Please remove your jewellery before participating in sports, showering/bathing, or sleeping.

Packaging: 

My jewellery comes in a kraft gift box, perfect for storing and keeping your jewellery safe. We include a complimentary polishing cloth. Our packaging materials are primarily recyclable, compostable, and biodegradable, maintaining our commitment to being realistically eco-friendly.

Processing Time: 

Please allow 5-7 days from the time of placing an order for your handmade item to be polished and packaged, ready to embark on its epic journey from our hands to yours.
